Hampshire Darts Face Tough Test Against Yorkshire
This past weekend saw Hampshire County Darts travel to take on a strong Yorkshire side in another tough county fixture. Despite battling hard across all sections, Hampshire were ultimately beaten 24-12 by a dominant Yorkshire team.
While the overall result didn’t go Hampshire’s way, there were still some excellent individual performances that deserve recognition.
Players of the Match:
- Laura Turner (Women’s A): Continued her fine form with a convincing 3-1 victory, posting a superb 23.96 average to earn Lady of the Match honours.
- Tom Grantham (Men’s B): Showed great determination to edge a 4-3 win and pick up Man of the Match with a solid 24.96 average.
- Chas Barstow (Men’s A): Once again delivered on the big stage, winning a close 4-3 battle and recording a brilliant 27.35 average.
Despite the overall scoreline, Hampshire’s players gave it their all and showed flashes of the quality the team is known for. With continued effort and team spirit, Hampshire will be aiming to bounce back in their next fixture.
