Hampshire Narrowly Defeated in Thrilling Clash Against London
This past weekend saw Hampshire travel to face London in what proved to be a highly competitive and entertaining county darts fixture. Despite a strong performance across the weekend, Hampshire were narrowly defeated 19–17 in a match that remained close throughout.
There were plenty of standout performances from Hampshire players across both the men’s and ladies’ teams. Chas Barstow once again showed his class with an excellent 4–1 victory, producing a superb 29.68 average. Kev Woodward also impressed for the men’s side, securing a strong 4–2 win with a 27.21 average.
In the ladies’ matches, Pennie Lewis battled hard to earn a well-deserved 3–2 victory, averaging 17.65, while Milly Milligan also produced a determined display to win 3–2 with a 17.09 average.

Although the final result went against Hampshire, the match was played in great spirit and featured some excellent darts throughout the weekend. There were many positives to take from another close county contest.
Next up, Hampshire are back at home on the weekend of June 13th, where they will take on Oxfordshire, as they look to return to winning ways in front of home support.
