This result shows all the improvement from our first game of the season, now defeating the team sitting top of the division. A strong weekend of darts action saw Hampshire’s U18s and U21s shine with impressive wins, while the Ladies’ team continued to show development and determination against tough opposition.
U18s: Hampshire 6–3 Berkshire
The Hampshire U18s delivered a fantastic team victory, with several standout performances and solid averages throughout.
- Oliver Matson (17.88) opened the match strongly with a composed 3–1 win over Oliver Dunham (16.21).
- Reggie Woodmore (20.28) continued the momentum, edging a close 3–2 battle against Arthur Alden (19.21).
- Mason Smith (16.08) kept Hampshire ahead with a steady 3–1 win versus Samuel Lacey (15.46).
- Oscar Kreft (19.27) produced one of the performances of the day, sweeping 3–0 past Drew Williams (17.24).
- Tommy Farmer (15.96) fought hard but lost 1–3 to Ryan Knight (17.75).
- Jaxon Sharp (13.93) also found himself on the wrong side of a 1–3 result against Cowan Allan (17.86).
- AJ McPherson (12.80) pushed his match all the way but was edged out 2–3 by Reggie Price (14.15).
- Connor Mitchell (22.43) produced a superb display, taking a dominant 3–0 win over Ethan Beasley (17.44) with the highest Hampshire average of the day.
- Lucas Banks (18.18) sealed the overall victory with a tight 3–2 win against Eddie Fox (16.77).
A brilliant 6–3 overall win, showcasing depth, quality and consistency throughout the U18 squad.
Ladies: Hampshire 0–3 Berkshire
A tough fixture for the Hampshire Ladies, but one that showed clear positives and individual improvements.
- Rhianna Mifsud-Herne (12.59) battled well in a difficult 0–3 loss to the in-form KJ Witcher (19.52).
- Neve Turner (12.42) put in a competitive display, taking a leg before falling 1–3 to Jessica Mildenhall (13.00).
- Emily Purse (13.92) was Hampshire’s standout on the Ladies’ side, taking two legs and pushing hard in a narrow 2–3 defeat to Chaniece Witcher (17.41).
Despite the 0–3 match result, the individual performances continue to build confidence and experience for the squad.
U21s: Hampshire 3–2 Berkshire
A tight and exciting contest saw Hampshire’s U21s edge out Berkshire with strong averages and confident finishing.
- Lennon McCarthy (17.98) kicked things off with an impressive 3–1 win over Kyle Ison (16.80).
- Brandon Harper (20.51) battled through a high-quality match, taking a brilliant 3–2 victory against Tom Lacey (21.42).
