Hampshire Storm to Victory Over Northampton
This weekend saw Hampshire travel to face Northampton in their latest county clash — and they returned home with a fantastic 27–9 victory after a dominant all-round performance.
The win showcased some superb individual displays across the board. Dawn Simmons produced an excellent 3–0 win with a 20.59 average, while Tracy North battled hard to take a 3–2 victory with a 19.37 average. In the men’s matches, Mike West was in top form, winning 4–0 with an impressive 26.37 average, and Paul Walker turned on the style with a superb 4–0 victory, recording a brilliant 30.36 average.
Across the weekend, the Men’s A team won 9–3, the Men’s B team took a commanding 10–2 victory, while both the Women’s A and Women’s B sides claimed strong 4–2 wins — rounding off a near-perfect performance from Hampshire.
This emphatic result lifts Hampshire up to 3rd in the league table, marking a strong step forward in their campaign.
